SUMMARY:Europe Day - Fair practice in the EU
DESCRIPTION:Pay\, Passion\, or Prestige? \nOn the development of Fair Practice awareness in the European cultural sector | West Satellite CAE \nOn May 8 and 9 the BEYOND satellite event is organised by Kunsten ’92 and will be part of the two-day program surrounding Europe Day. BEYOND invites cultural professionals\, policymakers and sector representatives to explore what fairness in labour relations means in today’s European context. Through dialogue across national and European perspectives\, participants will reflect on shared values\, emerging challenges and concrete opportunities for strengthening fair practice across borders. \nThe programme combines talks\, panel discussions\, workshops\, networking moments and peer-to-peer exchanges. At the core of the BEYOND is a design sprint\, for creators\, advocates\, collectives\, funds and organisations. The design sprint offers a hands-on approach to reflecting on values\, discussing ethical dilemmas\, and co-creating action plans around fairness. By conducting this design sprint in a European context\, BEYOND aims to contribute to the ongoing development of Fair Practice in Europe and thus help build a more just\, sustainable\, and resilient cultural sector. \nThis Satellite BEYOND is organized by Kunsten ‘92 in collaboration with Culture Action Europe and EUNIC Netherlands. It is co-funded by the European Union and powered by Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts and the Dutch Ministry of Education\, Culture & Science. Hiervoor hebben we Cor Wijn uitgenodigd\, die dezer dagen het boek ‘Afstemming is alles’ publiceert. In dit handboek gaat de schrijver in op ‘alle ingrediënten voor het maken van samenhangend\, succesvol cultuurbeleid’. Of dat zo is en hoe we die ingrediënten kunnen inzetten\, gaan we tijdens de lunchlezing onderzoeken. SUMMARY:Talentontwikkeling in de culturele en creatieve sector
DESCRIPTION:Talentontwikkeling\, een blijvend urgent en actueel onderwerp in de culturele en creatieve sector. De ruggengraat van onze sector: het start bij een eerste kennismaking en gaat door tot professionele doorontwikkeling.\n\nOp 30 juni 2026 van 12.30 tot 14.30 uur – voorafgaand aan de Algemene Ledenvergadering van Kunsten ’92 – gaan we met elkaar in gesprek  over talentontwikkeling.  Doel: inzichten uitwisselen én bezien waar we elkaar in de gezamenlijke belangenbehartiging kunnen versterken.  \nNiet alleen zien we verschillende knelpunten in deze keten\, ook constateren we dat deze weg steeds minder vaak langs de klassieke lijnen verloopt. Bovendien is talentontwikkeling een heel breed begrip\, waar niet iedereen het overzicht over heeft dan wel hetzelfde over denkt. Vanuit verschillende kanten ontvangen we signalen dat er behoefte is om de koppen bij elkaar te steken rond talentontwikkeling in de culturele en creatieve sector. Om samen te signaleren wat goed gaat en wat aandacht nodig heeft.
